Iconic London restaurant The Ivy finally arrived in Spinningfields in November 2018. The Ivy collection has been around since 1917 with venues across the UK and is now making its mark in Manchester.
Not ones to do things by halves, The Ivy Spinningfields was the largest restaurant to open in the UK in 2018, boasting a huge 535 covers to satisfy Manchesters appetite for The Ivy experience. The restaurant’s four distinct floors bring something new to our city. Here’s what’s on offer on each floor at The Ivy Manchester…
The Ivy Brasserie
At the classic Ivy Brasserie, it’s all about modern British dishes done right. Open all day, seven days a week, tuck into the likes of lobster linguine or slow-cooked lamb shoulder here.
The Dalton Room
For a special occasion or when you need to pull out all the stops, private dining room ‘The Dalton Room’ is your go-to. Seating twenty guests for breakfast, lunch or dinner, The Dalton Room offers The Ivy experience with an added touch of exclusivity.
The Ivy Asia – Review
This is where it gets extra special. We know Manchester does things differently so it’s great to see The Ivy catch on and give us a brand-new concept that no other city has – The Ivy Asia. A semi-precious green stone floor, antique gold mirrored bar and gold-gilt ceiling creates a glamorous space that Manchester deserves.
The Ivy Asia serves Asian-inspired cocktails and dishes like Wagyu beef with truffle sauce and salmon fillet teriyaki. This floor is also home to ‘The Geisha Room’, a stunning space that’s decorated with bespoke mirrored artwork and is available for private hire.
What To Order at The Ivy Asia
Tuna sashimi crisp with avocado and truffle, £8.50. A great one to nibble on with a glass of Perrier Jouet whilst you take in The Ivy Asia’s luxurious décor.
Crispy duck salad, £8.50. This refreshing salad is a light but tasty way to kick off your meal.
Popcorn shrimp, £8.50. Brought to life with a spicy, creamy sauce, these little pops of goodness are a must-order.
Crispy tofu bao, £8.50. Ideal for veggies, crispy tofu in a soft bao bun is sure to leave you feeling content.
Slow cooked pork belly, £14.95. Sticky barbeque sauce is the perfect finishing touch to the pork belly. You’ll be coming BACK for more of this!
Warm mango and yuzu doughnuts with coconut dipping sauce, £7.50. Indulge your sweet tooth with these fruity doughnuts – the best way to round off your meal.
