Salford Makers Open Chapel Street Pop Up Shop

Chapel Street welcomes a new pop-up shopping destination.

Salford Makers, a collective of local artists, designers and makers, has brought us a new Salford shopping spot. Bringing together our community through a culture of creativity, the pop-up shop opened on Friday 9th November for six months.

This new arty area welcomes creatives from Islington Mill (an ever-evolving creative space and arts hub) and beyond. The space has been provided by The English Cities Fund – a group dedicated to creating exceptional spaces in towns and cities across England.

Adding to Chapel Street’s boom, the shop sells handmade creations including clothes, jewellery, homewares and artwork. Get cracking with your Christmas shopping and pick up some unique gifts that are sure to impress your loved ones this festive season and support the local arts community at the same time.

Not just a place for a shopping spree, it’s all about connecting and getting creative here. When you visit, make sure to have a brew with the makers themselves to find out about what they’re working on and get crafty yourself.
