Pop-Up Cinema Brings Festive Films to Victoria Baths

There’s nothing like a good festive film to get you into the Christmas spirit. This December, head to Victoria Baths to see classic Christmas flicks on the big screen.

From 7 – 9 December, the Edwardian building will be a memorable backdrop for movies you love including family-friendly Elf and alternative Xmas favourite, Die Hard (the drama unfolds on Christmas Eve, so yes, it does count).

Great for date night or fun with the little ones, there’s some real Christmas crackers on offer…

Much more than movies, a winter wonderland of sparkling lights and DJs will take over the baths before each screening. Even better than the cinema, The Village Green packs every one of its events with street food stalls and pop-up bars.
Ticket prices range from £8-£15 depending on age and seating choices. There are pool and balcony level seats providing different screen views to suit everyone.

Passionate about showing classic films in stunning locations, The Village Green has been running cinematic events across the North in Sheffield, Manchester and the Peak District for the past three years. For 2018, The Village Green returns to Victoria Baths – one of Manchester’s hidden gems that plays host to great events throughout the year. Victoria Baths, situated in Longsight just outside of the city centre, is an historic swimming baths that dates back to 1906. The venue closed in 1993 but the building has been preserved and repurposed for our city today.
