Grindsmith Opens on Bridge Street

Getting your caffeine fix at Grindsmith just got even better

The team at Grindsmith have been fuelling our passion for great coffee right across Manchester and now they’re opening a new coffee and brunch bar on Bridge Street.

Going from pedalling their coffee trike across the city in 2013 to having sites in Deansgate, MediaCityUK and ‘The Pod’ on Greengate Square, it seems we can’t get enough of Grindsmith. Now, the speciality coffee bar is opening a new site on Bridge Street.

62 Bridge Street is set to come with a whole new look (but don’t worry, you can still get all your Grindsmith favourites there). When you’re a little bleary-eyed in the mornings, just look out for the colourful mosaics covering the building’s exterior that are sure to beckon coffee-lovers. The building will see Grindsmith take the ground floor with four floors of boutique office space above by Watch This Space.

The new venue will be an Instagram heaven. We’re talking marbled concrete walls, Grindsmith’s gold insignia etched into the floor, pops of blush pink and, of course, neon lighting. Look out for the living plant wall and floating botanical raft! Grindsmith is changing the usual set-up by introducing a theatre kitchen and horseshoe-shaped bar area too.

Grindsmith knows that we’re a busy bunch here in Manchester and their new site caters to this. If you’re going for a bite to eat, head to the relaxed lunch area; if you’re nipping in for a quick pick-me-up latte then the fast turnaround bar service has got you covered.

It’s still very much all about the coffee here though: Grindsmith’s Coffee Roastery and Laboratory is where they cook up caffeinated-delights for us all right here in Manchester and you’ll be able to buy their blends at the Bridge Street site.

Get ready to tuck into the likes of buttermilk pancakes with maple syrup, full English and vegan breakfasts and lunch-time power bowls to keep you fuelled on those busy days. Grindsmith now lets order food and drink through an app on your phone, speeding up service – just when you thought your lazy brunch couldn’t get any more chilled-out.

The new site set to open in early 2019.
