A dose of Danish culture comes to Altrincham
We know Altrincham has enjoyed a new lease of life over the last few years and it hasn’t gone unnoticed on the international scene either as Danish homeware store Søstrene Grene comes to the Greater Manchester area.
Altrincham has embraced all things independent, with the likes of Common Ground and Porta, as well as the beloved Altrincham Market thriving there. Søstrene Grene has spotted our passion for artisan offerings so chose to bring its third British site to Greater Manchester, following the success of it’s Chester store that opened one year ago.
Based in Altrincham’s Stamford Quarter Shopping Centre, Søstrene Grene is set to bring joy to our time spent shopping. A visit to the store promises to be an experience. Shoppers should expect to wander their way around Søstrene Grene’s labyrinth-like layout, discovering colourful treasures, from minimalist homewares and gifts to Christmas decorations and craft items, around every corner.
Much more than just giving us the chance to add some Danish cool to our home interiors, 2018 has seen people across the world loving the Danish concept of ‘hygge’ – a special state of contentment, warmth and belonging – and fingers crossed that’s what Manchester shoppers are set to enjoy when visiting Søstrene Grene’s Altrincham store.
You can get your dose of Danish culture when Søstrene Grene’s doors open on Friday 2nd November.
