Do You Need Free First Time Buyer Advice?

The First Time Buyer Home Show has announced its next event in Manchester, Saturday 7th September 2019!

The First Time Buyer Home Show has announced its next event in Manchester, which will be held in the city centre at The Union, Manchester Metropolitan University on Saturday 7th September 2019. Following a highly successful show last year which welcomed up to 1000 visitors, the returning show is expected to welcome hundreds more hopeful first time buyers in September.

The proactive show, which is free for visitors to attend, is designed to give hope to frustrated homebuyers who may be struggling to get on the property ladder; helping them find more affordable and faster ways on to the housing ladder. With first time buyers now being reported to require over £30,000 to get on the property ladder, the experts at the Manchester show will demonstrate how anyone could get on the ladder with lower upfront costs.

Completely free to attend, the First Time Buyer Show will offer access to a range of industry experts, ready to provide specialist advice tailored to first time buyers; including financial, mortgage, and legal advice, as well as explaining purchasing schemes such as Shared Ownership and Help to Buy.

Lynda Clark, Director of First Time Buyer Home Show, says: “Getting on the property ladder is frequently reported to be an impossibility but by speaking to the right people the reality can be very different. Through clear explanation of all the options available through Shared Ownership, Help to Buy and various 5% deposit schemes, our Manchester show is designed to break down some of the barriers to homeownership and make getting on the property ladder a real possibility.

“Manchester, and the North East as a whole, has always been popular destination with first time buyers looking to find a home that offers a contemporary lifestyle and is compatible with a more affordable budget. We’re very excited to be returning to the city this year and welcoming more homebuyers to come and find out all they need to know.”

On the day, there will be a series of expert-led seminars to explain the homebuying process in greater depth, and a team of property experts will be available to meet with buyers and answer any questions. With all of this information available for free and under one roof, it’s an ideal opportunity to find out all the necessary information.

The headline sponsor for the show is Laurus Homes, who will be present on the day to provide insight into the property market across the North West. Laurus Homes specialises in contemporary homes for sale through Help to Buy and shared ownership. Laurus also reinvests its profits back into the community to support projects that tackle poverty and give people access to employment and opportunities.

Zac Worthington, Senior Sales Manager at Laurus Homes, said: “We’re passionate about helping first time buyers to get on the ladder, with a range of options including Help to Buy and Shared Ownership. Our homes are stylish, modern and spacious, giving first time buyers an exciting alternative to the typical new home builder. We’ll be available throughout the day to provide advice and support so first time buyers can find a home that fits their lifestyle.”

Alongside Laurus Homes is supporting sponsor Plumlife. Other exhibitors at the popular Home Show will include Direction Law, New Homes Law, Guinness Homes, FirstHomeCoach, Garden City Homes, Which? Mortgage Advisors, Onward Living, Snugg Homes, Gecko Homes, Property Booking, Peaks and Plains Housing Trust, The Leasehold Advisory Service, Lawcomm, Together Housing, Unity Mutual, MSV Housin, RSC New Homes Ltd, Viaduct Housing Partnership, Home Reach, Far East Consortium Internaational Limited, and StepLadder.

Lynda Clark adds: “The First Time Buyer Home Show could be the key to help you kickstart your home ownership journey. Together with our exhibitors, we’re providing all the information, for free and under one roof. Our goal is to provide the tools and knowledge that mean our visitors will be able to leave at the end of the day feeling confident and fully to be able to take the next steps to buying their first home.”

The First Time Buyer Home Show will be held at The Union at Manchester Metropolitan University, 22 Higher Cambridge Street, Manchester, M15 6AD from 10am until 4pm on Saturday 7th September 2019.
