AMAGAZINE Donates Thousands To Royal Manchester Children's Hospital Charity

AMAGAZINE Donates To Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity (RMCH Charity) with a star-studded charity ball

The stars of The Real Housewives of Cheshire came together with the AMAGAZINE Manchester Ollie and Alex, along with over one hundred other guests, for AMAGAZINE’s charity ball in aid of Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity at the Radisson Blu Edwardian Manchester on Saturday 8th July.

Dawn Ward, husband Ashley, and their daughter Taylor joined us to show their support for our chosen charity. The Wards and their friends, including the fabulous hairdressing duo Nick Malenko and Royston Blythe, and founders of Forever Unique Seema and Sandeep Malhotra, contributed to the buzzing atmosphere of the ball as they sipped champagne and chatted with friends.

Manchester icons such as fashionista and singer, Jsky; founders of Lavish Alice, Lee Bloor and Matthew Lucian; former Britain’s Next Top Model contestant, Bethan Sowerby; along with Lord Mayor Eddy Newman, rounded off the amazing guest list.

The luxurious prizes on offer made for an exciting auction. A two-night stay at The Thief in Oslo and a four-night stay at Sugar Beach in St. Lucia incited a fierce bidding war. Our top prize – a three-day charter on a luxury superyacht around the Balearic Islands – was snapped up by Dawn Ward.

AMAGAZINE has been involved with the charity since 2016. As a magazine, we love to celebrate the best of Manchester and our relationship with Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital is an extension of this. We’ve learned about the vital work that the charity does and have seen the positive impact that it has on ill children and their families. We experienced this first-hand when the A-Family visited the hospital to see the state of the art equipment and facilities that funds raised by the charity have enabled the hospital to buy.

The charity Ball was the first big milestone in our commitment to Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity. Money raised at the ball goes towards funding research into children’s illnesses, purchasing the latest medical equipment to improve diagnosis and treatment, and making the hospital as child-friendly as possible.

AMAGAZINE’s Charity Ball was a huge success that raised over £4,000 in vital funds for Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity thanks to the incredible generosity of our sponsors, wonderful guests and our hardworking team. The event showed exactly what we can achieve when we work together to show our love for the city of Manchester.

The AMAGAZINE team also donated £6,000 worth of books and toys to make sure the RMCH was fully stocked for Christmas.
