Porta is bringing tapas to Salford’s Chapel Street
Look out Chapel Street, a new dining spot is on its way! Porta’s winning combination of homemade tapas and chilled-out vibes has gained the tapas bar a huge following, allowing founders Ben and Joe Wright to open a third site in Salford.
Having already wowed us with its Altrincham and Chester venues, Porta has found a new home in the up-and-coming Chapel Street area. Stepping up Salford’s offering, Porta will be bringing us a taste of sunnier Spanish shores when its doors open at the end of November.
Head Chef, Jose Garzón, of Chester restaurant Joseph Benjamin, will be rustling up classic Spanish-inspired dishes for us hungry Mancs. Get ready to tuck into the likes of Catalan almonds, chorizo and lentil stew, and fried Andalucian style squid with alioli, washed down with a glass of one of Porta’s Spanish wines.
You’ll be able to step up your after-work drinks with a good Spanish beer and patatas bravas when Porta opens at the end of November.
