Date Night for Under £25

If your bank balance is looking less than impressive, we’ve got some date night ideas that’ll see you and your date get some great grub for less than £25, so you can keep on swiping right during hard times.

Take your date to…

My Thai | 11 John Dalton St, Manchester M2 6WH

Street-food inspired restaurant My Thai’s most expensive dish is £8.50, leaving plenty left of your budget to try some Thai beer for £3.50. You won’t need to order much, though, because their portions are more than enough! On top of that, if you check-in on Facebook, you can get 10% off your bill.

Rudy’s Neapolitan Pizza | 9 Cotton St, Manchester M4 5BF

The whitewashed walls, wooden tables and bare light bulbs of Rudy’s make for a great laidback atmoshpere in which to dig into a Neapolitan pizza. With their classic Marinara for just under £5, and absolutely nothing on the menu splurging over £10, you can easily keep within your budget at this chilled-out pizzeria.

Try and find someone that looks at you the same way this guy looks at our Calabrese.. ❤️

Habesha | 29-31 Sackville St, Manchester M1 3LZ

Habesha is one of Manchester’s lesser-known dining spots. Hiding just above a kebab shop on Canal Street, this Ethiopian eatery serves beef, chicken, lamb and vegetarian alternatives ranging from mild to hot and spicy, which you can cool down with a £2.50 bottle of Ethiopian beer. All their food is served with Injera (a traditional sour flatbread), so if you’re looking for somewhere different to take your date, head over to Habesha.
